Women’s outerwear in the catalog is divided by cut and purpose.

• Jackets are the most versatile category, ranging from lightweight spring styles to insulated winter designs made from shell fabric or denim.
• Leather jackets and biker jackets are designed for city wear, with straight or fitted silhouettes, zippers, and metal hardware.
• Shearling-style coats retain warmth thanks to their dense pile lining without adding bulk to the figure. Faux-fur coats look just as refined as natural fur but require much less maintenance.
• Bomber jackets with elasticated cuffs are a transitional option that sits somewhere between a jacket and a sweater. Trench coats maintain their shape without insulation thanks to dense, treated cotton.
• Vests keep the torso warm without restricting arm movement and are worn over sweaters. Fashionable outerwear is available in sizes XS to 7XL, including plus-size outerwear created from dedicated patterns rather than simply enlarging a standard-size pattern.

Fabrics and insulation

Gepur women’s outerwear is made from dense shell fabric with a membrane coating that resists water and blocks wind, making it suitable for use with hollow-fiber or polyester insulation. Polyester padding is lightweight but requires more volume to provide warmth, while hollow-fiber insulation retains its shape after washing and does not clump. Premium-grade faux fur recreates the texture of natural pile and offers similar softness without requiring specialist care. Wool and cashmere retain heat by trapping air between their fibers — coats made from these materials are heavier but offer a more refined appearance.

How to choose outerwear for the season

Transitional jackets without insulation or with a thin layer of polyester padding are suitable for temperatures of +5...+15°C, while winter styles with dense insulation can handle temperatures down to -15…-20°C. For temperatures below -10°C, choose a style with a hood and a high stand collar to protect the neck without a scarf. An oversized silhouette allows you to wear a chunky-knit sweater underneath without distorting the shape, so keep this in mind when selecting your size.

What to wear with a coat, jacket, or shearling-style coat

A straight-cut coat pairs well with straight-leg jeans, keeping the silhouette from looking overloaded with volume. A cropped jacket or bomber works well with high-rise bottoms, such as a midi skirt or high-waisted jeans.

Wear a chunky knitted sweater under a coat or shearling-style coat to create layers without making the outfit look heavy. Choose footwear according to the length of the outerwear: boots with a long coat and ankle boots with a short jacket.

Outerwear care

Faux-fur and faux-leather garments are not suitable for machine washing — clean them with a damp sponge or take them to a dry cleaner. Membrane-coated shell fabric should be washed on a delicate cycle without spinning. Wool coats should only be dry-cleaned, as water can deform the fibers. Always check the care label before cleaning: the fabric composition determines the correct method, not the type of garment.
