Chiffon evening dresses

The collection uses three main types: crepe chiffon with a matte texture and dense thread — for long skirts with soft draping; windy chiffon with light stiffness — for flounces, ruffles, and voluminous sleeves; layered chiffon — for full skirts and Greek-style silhouettes. Some models also feature chiffon with lurex for a shimmering effect and printed chiffon: star, floral, or polka-dot patterns. The lining is always dense — crepe chiffon, knitwear, or satin, depending on the model.

Hourglass — models with a waist accent: belt, cut-off bodice, and flared layered skirt. Rectangle — styles with draping and a V-neckline that create curves. Inverted triangle — an A-line silhouette with a light skirt and minimalist top. Pear — floor length with an accent upper part, such as sequins or guipure, and a flowing skirt that softens the hips. Apple — Greek style with a raised waistline and V-neck.

In Gepur models, chiffon is not see-through thanks to the inner combination. For floor-length dresses, the lining follows the main length or is 5–10 cm shorter above the slit. In midi and mini styles, the lining reaches the edge of the skirt. Transparent sleeves and backs do not include lining — this is part of the design, and such models are intended for evening occasions. When choosing, pay attention to the description: “two-layer chiffon with lining,” “crepe chiffon lining,” or “knit base.”

For a wedding as a guest — floor length or midi in pastel shades: powder, mint, lavender, or champagne. Avoid white, cream, and red, as they compete with the bride. Wedding dresses for bridesmaids in a unified style can also suit the look. For a corporate event with a cocktail dress code — midi in a deep color such as burgundy, emerald, or midnight blue; for less formal parties — short cocktail dresses or chiffon mini dresses with decor.

The main trends are an open back with thin tie straps; voluminous puff and lantern sleeves with elastic cuffs; a high side slit in long models; layered pleated skirts; and floral prints — from small ditsy patterns to large painterly compositions. Key colors include muted pastels such as lavender, pistachio, and peach, as well as deep burgundy, chocolate brown, and classic black with transparent inserts. Greek style with asymmetry and draping returns as a key silhouette of the season.

A long dress has a formal tone: wedding reception, opera, premiere, or ceremonial dinner. The silhouette is usually classic: A-line, Greek style, or straight cut with a slit. A short chiffon dress is for dynamic occasions: birthdays, New Year’s Eve, dinner dates, or parties. The silhouette is usually more playful: a flared skirt, voluminous sleeves, or an open shoulder. Midi is the universal compromise: it suits cocktail events, corporate parties, and informal wedding receptions.

Wash on a delicate machine cycle up to 30°C or by hand in slightly warm water with a mild detergent for delicate fabrics. Do not twist — press through a towel. Dry on wide hangers in a straightened position, away from direct sunlight. Iron on the “silk” setting through thin cotton fabric or steam from a distance of 10–15 cm. Dresses with sequins, stone appliqués, and guipure decor should be dry-cleaned. Store on wide hangers in a garment cover, do not fold — creases in chiffon are difficult to smooth out.
