We want to share with you the emotions from our special event ❤️

The event was dedicated to the release of a new collection, where we told the story of its creation, what inspired us, how Malva was born: from the drawing of the stems to the blossoming of the flower on clothes...

Just as mallow blooms among the fields, so we, Ukrainians, find strength and beauty in ourselves, even in difficult times. The combination of her beauty and steadfastness inspired us to create a symbolic collection, where every detail is filled with warmth and love for our native land,” comments Gepur designer Dmitry Kirdan.

Together with artist Tanya Bonya, we developed an exclusive watercolor print that reflects the connection with nature and the harmony of Ukrainian spring. This idea complements the general mood of the collection, which is permeated with the energy of spring awakening and the thirst for life. Tanya also gave us an incredibly good master class on watercolor painting, and together we painted mallow - the flower of life and the symbol of Ukraine.

We talked with the artist about the details of creating the collection:

  • What inspired you to create Malva?
  • Now more than ever, when creating paintings, I want to focus on Ukrainian culture. I have always associated Malva with my grandmother's house, these are very inspiring, warm memories.
  • What are your impressions of the collection? Maybe there are favorites?
  • Definitely a pink silk dress. I am sure that many girls now really want bright colors after the gray winter landscapes.

  • What emotions do you experience from cooperation with Gepur?
  • I am sincerely grateful to the team for their trust. Mallow is a special flower for me. Coincidentally, it became the symbol of the collection, so I’m glad that we managed to make it truly unique.

This is a very valuable collection for me and the whole team, as it is a symbol of love for Ukraine and its amazing beauty. We, like mallow, are given away by our roots. We reach out to the light and thrive thanks to our inner resilience and faith in the future. Because the power of a flower, like the power of a person, always abounds in light,” shared the founder of the brand Katya Sadovskaya.
