Black is the most demanding color in swimwear. It reveals every flaw: lightweight fabric can turn sheer in the water, low-quality dye may develop a gray cast after exposure to chlorine, and thin elastic can stretch within a season, leaving ripples along the edges. Fabric: why biflex

The main fabric used for Gepur styles is biflex, a four-way stretch material that regains its shape after getting wet and dries quickly. For black swimwear, an effective fabric weight starts at 200 g/m²: material of this density does not become sheer in sunlight or when wet. Black works as a versatile base and pairs with any accessories, including gold and brass pieces. Care: what damages black swimwear

The three main enemies are chlorine, oil-based sunscreen, and drying in direct sunlight. After swimming in a pool, rinse the garment in cool water without wringing it. Wash it by hand without bleach or fabric softener, then dry it flat in the shade. Apply high-SPF sunscreen 15–20 minutes before getting dressed: oil-based formulas can leave dull marks on black fabric that may not wash out.
